Introduction

Orugallu or Warangal has a lot of historical importance for being the Capital city of Kakatiyas for nearly 400 years. It has inherited rich culture and heritage. For the past 49 years Vidyaranya Government College of Music & Dance, warangal – offering courses in Karnatic Vocal, Hindustani Vocal, Karnatic Violin, Mridangam, Sitar, Kuchipudi Dance and Perini Dance. Staff at this institute are sincerely working for the preservation and  promotion of our rich cultural heritage, passing on to the next generation.
